Rheumatology
Rheumatology deals with diagnoses and therapies of chronic diseases. Nowadays there are about 400 different types of rheumatology diseases. The most popular diseases are rheumatoid arthritis or chronic polyarthritis, polychondritis, Bekhterev's disease, fibromyalgia, and lupus erythematosus. Rheumatic complaints are often connected with diseases of the immune system, but first there are often swellings and pain the musculoskeletal system. In addition to traditional anti-inflammatory medications, biotechnical medications are successfully produced and tested in the last few years. They are called "biologica". Diseases without verifiable inflammations are for example arthrosis or osteoporosis, which are based on the abrasion phenomenon.
